Well, my mum, really.

Mum: "Where is there a VCR in the house that we can watch this on?"
Me: "The front room"
"That's no working"
"Yes it is"
*Points* "A Fiver"
"Fine, a fiver to set it up? I'll be a moment"
"NAW"
*I go check if it's working, which i know it is*
*Comes back*
"It is working, give me my fiver"
"No."

Then, I go back upstairs.

"Here, i don't want the VCR in there, set it up in the living room"
I do that, which is a painful and labourous task (It's difficult because of the size of the gap where the VCR can go, and the fact that there's only a tiny hole in the back of the unit for the cables to go.
"Right, fix this for me" (She's talking about the Space Invaders thing she bought us for Christmas, but she decided to keep it for herself)

"Am i gonna get the fiver you bet me then?"
"No"

I'm discriminated against.

I've heard that sucking cows is a very good remedy for a bad mood.

It help you realise that you're being a dick.

Although, technically, dick (s) don't suck.

Did you know that the plural of dick is in the swear filter, but dick isn't.

Good, because my Mum beat the crap out of me for it...oh crap, not back on to the domestic violence thing.

That made me smile. Wel done.
Also, my last post there. Ignore the last three lines or so, I've gone and done it again.
I get annoyed far too easily.

To hopefully shut you up? Your situatin is hardly any worse than virtually every other home in Britain (Your mum didn't give you £5? She's evil! Burn her at a stake. Gauge out her eyes... But of course the children that get beaten up by their mothers are far better off yes?). However, there happend to be something far worse to compare it to. So I did. Sue me.

I'm in a bad mood too.

Errr, no.
My mum bet me a fiver that it wasn't working, which it was, that's what I expected the money for and she wouldn't give me it, so, after doing something, that made it even worse.

Some people pay plumbers and electricians much more tahn that, and all they do is flick a switch or loosen a blot or something.

Anyway, I'd probably do well in a third world country.

I'd set up home near some clean running water, start a small business to make a wee bit of money, go to a clinic, get some vaccinations and I'd be all set.

Well after that I'll forgive you, but hasty pride and anger can cause sore wounds.
Todays philosophy lesson over.

Me and all my muchly wisdom thinks this is a "jovial" thread that went bad by being taken too seriously.

*Farts*

Will that lighten the mood? No? Well it thickened the air...

Hardly, usually I wouldn't give a damn, and I'd never make such a horrible comment, I don't joke about anything involving peoples lives, and I'm not trying to be funny here either, yes my "They shouldn't live so close to the sea" and "they don't care, they're dead" xomments were vulgar, but I'd never have said them if it wasn't for a certain moron who replied after you EB.
What's the point in aoe coming into the thread and saying "Oh your situation is so much worse than what those who've been hit by the Tsunami"

If I said "Oh yes, I've lost my leg" it's still nothing compared to the millions who've lost family members, all of they're possessions, and in probably over 100,000 cases, their lives, nothing is comparable to that, and as this post probably shows, I'm not exactly in the most jovial of moods, so of course I'm going to get a bit rat-mouthed at it.
