People go out of their way to make others who have different religious beliefs feel more welcome by getting rid of Christmas decorations and trying to change the name to "Winterfest" or something.

At the same time, these same people are moaning about the Gambling Legislation Bill thingy that will allow horse racing etc on Christmas Day and Easter.


Erm.

Also, is the only reason you can't buy alcohol before 12.30pm on Sundays because of churches?

I only thought about it today, and that's the only reason I can think of for it..

But surely that's not welcoming otehr religions?

Actually, it appears in my mind every time I go to my local chippy.

Some Indians (I think they're Indian, sicne the guy opened up an Indian cross the road, but don't abuse me for it) bought our chippy, and now it's crap.

You can buy alcohol before 12:30 on a sunday..well you could when i worked in a supermarket a few months back.

All this nonsense only concerns religious crackpots who have nothing better to do than worry about their will-o'-the-wisp belief systems.

I thought that alcohol thing was abolished.
