It's becuase they do houses in a specific system. If they just randomly did any house, some people would get them every couple of days and some people would go years without seeing them.

Meh; I've always found JW's and Mormons extremely polite and respectful of the views of others when they come door to door. Makes me wonder how religion in general is so utterly intolerant to be honest.
The jury service was a bit of a waste of time too.
