I've never had any problems while playing Halo on it, it's on the lowest setting level but it runs super smooth which is what I want for online gaming.

Recently however things have been getting jumpy with it, so jumpy that at some times I get a new frame once every 10 seconds or so!

What's even stranger is that it doesn't do this all the time. It will run super smooth, then go super jumpy and almost as suddenly as it started it will go smooth again!

It's only happened recently, so I'm completely bafled as to what's wrong.

It's an Iridium 865 too if you want to know.

Either something in the background is grabbing CPU/system time that wasn't there before, or some new drivers are misbehaving. Have you installed anything new recently? Have you run spyware/virus checks? What operating system is it?

It's XP, and I've just uninstalled the driver to find that none of the new ones will work...

Gotta love 800x600!

Make sure that in Halo your connection speed is set to what it should be. I had a similiar problem with CoD and found out that it was because someone had changed my in-game connection speed to ISDN!

The driver disk is back at uni!

"Fill"

I mainly play CTF games as they're more fun until people start randomly killing me even though I'm on their team.

Plus I just used a system restore to get the driver back as nothing works, although its still really jumpy...

I'll have to disable everything then try.
