And yes, all pundits do seem to fantasise over every "wonderful" 3-yard pass Vieira makes, but then you can't take anything away from the goal they scored against Liverpool - it really was great movement and passing, and easily pick of the bunch.

Ok, obviously I'm biased towards Spurs, but Vieira's was nowhere near the top 2 in that. They made 3 simple passes and the finished was quite a blatant mis-hit, if he had hit it well im sure it would have been hit harder, because the defender very nearly got that.

Surely he'd have seen the defender sprinting to the line who nearly got there? And you can put power on a chip
