Servers are hammered at the moment but here is what has been updated/fixed:

[-] December 15, 2004 (current release)

Changes/Additions


Added map: de_prodigy
Improved player movement against walls
Improved choppy player movement when bouncing down slopes
Purchase icon for defuser is shown
Physics prop avoidance is scaled by the object's mass
Detail prop fade distance can be controlled on a per-map basis with env_detail_controller
Spectator GUI last mode is saved
Added spectate player by name
Grenades, weapons, etc splash when they land in water
Frag grenade deafness is delayed so the explosion is heard
Fixed viewmodel lag
Added consistency checking player model bounds
Weapon reloads finish when the round restarts
Autobuy and rebuy trigger a reload if you don't buy a primary weapon
Rebuy doesn't drop pistols the player has picked up
Dropped weapon ammo isn't lost if the player has another weapon using that ammo
Re-added hostage hint messages
Smoke grenade canisters fade out and are removed when smoke is dense
Breakable glass is blown outward proportional to the damage recieved
Soundscapes update for observers
Fixed not being able to attach to ladder tops
Misc fixes to spray import

I just find a topic where you've copied and pasted from a webpage pointless. If you put it up because of the map then fine, just mention the map.

Since when is every update on here? The only reason I posted it is because this was an important update which happened to include a decent map. If you don't wanna read it then don't look, no one cares.

Oh so I guess you agree that every update should be posted on here then? Right, so if it's anything like 1.6 there will be a new update every week.

No it doesn't because mine loads straight into the Play Games menu with news updates turned off. Plus people who come on here and haven't loaded it up might have a quick look to see the new maps when otherwise they may not have bothered.

It is a PC gaming forum, used to talk about PC games, jack ass.

Just letting people know mate, I sometimes forget to log onto Steam and seeing as there is a new map people might go back to it as well as various fixes.

So are you going to make a new thread for every update? Also all of that info will show up on everyone's screen when they launch STEAM and it updates.
