Easy peasy, what's your favourite intros to songs? By intro I mean the start bit.

The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again, U2 - Where the Streets Have No Name, Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter

Only the first 48.
And without that 49th minute, it's nothing.

Pffft.

Thin Lizzy - "Whiskey in the Jar"

My band is doing an awesome cover of the Metallica cover. Was on the radio today, and they bit where it goes "Whiskey in the Jar-ooooh", the plasterer we had in sang "Whiskey in the jar-bone". I didn't correct him, he had a tool in his hands (not mine).

I've decided that the intro to Uno is better, especially when played really loud! The first bit is great!

Others that are great:

Hot Hot Heat - Talk to Me, Dance With Me
Reef - Put Your Hands On (I'm a student, I've gotta love it!)

Thats a tough one. Nothing instantly springs to mind, but out of songs I really like at the moment, probably The Who - Baba O Reilly and Rage - Take the Power Back.

That's like... Hardly even an intro... And not that good either.
