Absolutely terrible game. Has no redeeming qualities what so ever. Rubbish graphics, laggy live play and terrible controls. A total disappointment I think. I'd even say the this years fifa cash in is better. Im just glad I rented rather than bought it. The 9.4 rating in OXM is an abomination. Were they playing the same game as me? Probably not I doubt. They just make up their reviews anyway dont they? Does anyone like this crud? If so why?

For heaven's sake, people - it was Road to world cup '98 that had genius indoor.
97 had indoor too.
The game was terrible though, the people ran like constipated cripples.
The best Fifa was Fifa International soccer on SNES. Get 3 mates round and all crowd round the oppositions keeper and he kicked it in his own net everytime.

Infact that was the best fifa ever imo. It was my 1st ps1 game...back in the day.

I must admit, even I'm a little pi$$ed off by Pro Evo at the moment.
I'm sick of never getting a free kick, and the fact that the opposition never commit a foul (in the ref's eyes). Oh yes, and the way that my keeper stood still as a shot rolled past him at about 3 metres per hour and into the corner of the net.

FIFA 97 had a great soundtrack though.
'98 was superior.
