Have a bit of a session with your mates and get to some food stuck inbetween your teeth do you try and find a tooth pick or just use the stylus?
Is there some safety concerns here?
And yes, the PSP is targeted at an older audience - but can you honestly believe that a 'hip' guy in their mid-20's would want to be playing portable games whilst drinking café latté and whatever else they're supposed to do?
But lots of people do use iPods. They are targeted at a slightly older market, and thats the same market PSP is going for. Remember the original PS did this to the N64.
It may be that DS can keep going be attracting just the younger gamers, but I am not sure.
ahaha
And yes, because we all know that an aeroplane is a fashion parade, don't we? I mean, all those men in their fourties wearing shorts and such. It's like a portable version of Milan.

You are forgeting one important issue here you would not be seen dead on a plane playing a DS (just not cool).
How ever the PSP feels like a class peice of kit that has values akin to the ipod (the wow factory) unlike the DS
When you see a PSP in action and DS there will be only one winner and i ain't the one with the tooth pick.

By your logic, children shouldn't be allowed to use cutlery, incase they accidently swallow it with their food. In fact, why not just ban everything under 3inches in length (bad news for you two then)
