Okay, situation:

I have two tickets to go and watch The Darkness play live in concert at the Manchester M.E.N arena.

I want the girl I REALLY like to go with me.

Come tomorrah, I've got nine days 'til the event.

I think I'm asking her...

If you ask / have asked her and she has / says yes she might only be going because she likes The Darkness and she has free tickets, nothing to do with you. :P

I might be a bit late here, but anyway,...

Ask her anyway. If she likes YOU she'll go. And if she says she hates them then ask her out somewhere else instead, and take her best mate to the gig.

That's the perfect scenario, Hibernator.

If she likes them too, you can take her, all's good, nice evening out.

If she hates them and thinks theyre immature and theyre music sucks, you can suddenly pretend you feel the same way and then say let's go and take the p out of them because they suck so bad.

Either way, fun night out, only one involves you being fake and pretending to feel differently about something for an entire evening which I shouldn't really be promoting..

The darkness make fun songs for fun people.

The Darkness are cool.

Anyone who says otherwise is a probably an NME-worshipping fool. And everyone's knows NME are a bunch of muppets.
