I've spent 10 hours trying to fix my iPod and I think i've broken it, i'm selling my Xbox so i'll have about £100 to either get a brand new iPod Mini or 20GB or get my current one repaired.

Help?

I restored it and since then it's just turning on and off by itself and I dont think the iPod has anything on it because it doesn't actually turn on, it just comes up with a folder icon with an exclamation mark.

I've tried everything and it's still not working so I give up.

Not sure. I think you can get it restored.

But I've had a bad experience, sending this to get "repaired" as it were, I sent Rome : Total War to Activision in Glasgow, yet they haven't sent it back. It's been 5 weeks.

Which sucks.
