I don't know if this has been done before, but I never really considered these an importance to me, until I thought to myself:

"Why am I living for tomorrow?"

This then led to the conclusion that I must be living to reach something better than what I have, or to achieve something. I now consider them quite important, because they are not only something to aim for, or look forward to, but a way of looking at the things I like and something that I should take advantage of, as I'm pretty sure we only get one shot at life, before an eternity of non-existence.

I'm sure I'm taking this all too seriously, but here are mine:

- Visit all continents atleast once each
- Speak 20 languages
- Be a good father and stay part of a happy family
- Never do something I'd regret for the rest of my life

Some more achievable than others, but all are something to aim for.

You?

20 languages is almost impossible if you want to be able to speak them fluently. You'd never be able to do it and if you did you'd probably make it in to Guiness World Records. 20! I've been learning french for 4 years and I'm still no where near fluent so I could never get up to that many but maybe languages flow naturally for you.

Why do I keep living? I CANT DIE!!! (jumps off tall building but just bounces)

aah. well I dont have similar goals as such. I really like helping people..lol..and money isnt that important to me, but Id like enough to live comfortably. Id never want so much I didnt know what to do with it. Id love to contribute to society in some way, through a new gaming revolution, or social transition, not that I could really influence that. my gf and I discussed it and when our kids are safely in uni, or through uni or something we're gonna go off and work for an aid organisation or as missionaries or something for a year or 2.

Ive put some thought into this, and I think the one single technological invention we need right about now is a new type of propulsion system. Currently space travel, aswell as air travel etc is pretty crude. propulsion would lead to all sorts of new fields. It'd be like discovering the electron all over again. God Im a nerd.

To be a Doctor.
To know everything about human biology.
To find an amazing female partner.
Because if I'm dead I might miss a really cool game/film.

That's it.

My life goals?
This is hard to list :(

Become founder of a multi-billion pound computer buisness.
Go to japan, and take my friends with me!
Get married, and have kids.
Make a very popular video game.
Get all A's in my highers, and then go through colledge and university.

There are lots more, but I just cant think of them.

20 languages?

Good luck.

More to the point, why learn 20 languages? It's a high number related to something difficult, so worthy of a 'life goal' badge?

Just do something you want to do, rather than work in an office and then save up for months for some paltry visit to each continent and have evening classes in languages.

And, "Why do I live for tomorrow"?

Because the world is a far more interesting place to be than anywhere else. People seem to doubt the world when nothing's wrong in their lives.....I can understand when something utterly tragic happens....such as your toaster breaking and being late for work (and of course real tragedy, being serious), but why doubt life when you can question it so much more?

After a few seconds thought, I think I'm living for my family. I couldn't bear to ever leave them. Possibly the same with them.

I also live to see what tomorrow brings. Curiosity. Could be the same as the day before, but you learn something new every single day and it's fun!
We could get bombed - which would be quite an experience. Or we might meet the person of our dreams.. God damnit, why can't we know the future?! It'd only be all too easy, but easy is good!

All of your goals are interesting, by the way! All optimistic. :)

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
