It's like watching a covers band play Top of the Pops. I only really saw the first series, but it was enough to know they ripped off almost every major British sitcom over the last 30-odd years. The League of Gentlemen should sue them for nicking half the characters!

The only way I can think of it is as an archive for what we're told are the funniest sketches on those awful 'top 100 whatever' shows. Crap. The most cutting edge it gets is having a gay character - what the hell, is it the 80's again? Is Kenny Everett back from the dead?

Bo Selecta peaked sometime in season 2, and the peak was pretty low.

As said, it isn't really a laugh-out-loud programme, a bit like Bo' Selecta, and I'm sure there are mixed opinions on that.

Well I like Little Britain. The second series is less laugh-out-loud than the first one but its still very good. Most just people dont seem to watch it in case it damages their image because there is a gay in it and other damaging characters that you have to have some tollerance for.. The only bits that I found really funny in the first one where the Scottish Guy and hes gone. Also Margarie was funny, but shes a lot different now. Andy and Lou are ever funny, that sketch doesnt seem to tire.

Darkplace got a bit samey as well.
They used up their store of clichés in the first few episodes, which were genius. From there, it was never as good.

Where'd all these Little Britain haters come from?

Little Britain is quotable.

I got sick of the first series towards the end as it was always the same. Now Dark Place, that was class. Where's the DVD?

Chewin's The Fat is being repated on BBC1... now that is funny.

I can take or leave Little Britain really. Never realised why people found it that funny. The likes of Peep Show and Monkey Dust are far better.

It's very repetitive.

But humourous none the less.

If Matt Lucas wasn't in it, it'd be rubbish.
