I realise that some people on this forum (including myself) are planning to go to university next year, and I figured it'd be nice to see who was going and how far they have got with their UCAS application.

I received my confirmation letter from UCAS the other day to say they have received my application, all I can do now is wait..

The university's/courses I have applied for are

University of Lincoln: Games Computing
University of Lincoln: Computing
Sheffield Hallam: Software Development (Games) - Offer - not for this course, however
Northumbira University: Computer Games Software Engineering - Offer
Nottingham Trent University: Computer Science (Games Technology) - Offer

I have received 3 offers so far.

What universitys have you applied for? Had any offers/Rejections yet?

I suppose.

But the UCAS track thing gets kind of addictive after your first offer.

Does it really matter if you have to wait two or three days more? You can't make your decisions any earlier anyway.

Yep, agreed. Plus, I signed up for email notification- I didn't get the email until this morning, even thought I found out last night...

Bah.

Meh, don't worry about it.

Nottingham University is a very difficult place to get into; it's their loss, not yours.

They would of probably asked you for an interview anyway, a few of my friends have applied there and they failed to get offers; only one got an interview.

Gah all this waiting around sucks ass, I wish they'd update the UCAS thing 7 days a week instead of 5.

Well, I was rejected by Nottingham- gits.

I hope this won't become a common trend among the other 5.... :S

Those things suck so much ass, you'll get letters through the post soon stamped with the University logo, then only saying "we have your app" inside.

Pointless.

On another note I got this information pack from Sheffield Hallam today, about accomodation, if I was to choose to take up their offer.

They're depleting the e-mazon Cyberforest's resources.
Damn Unis.

And a waste of paper too.
