Taking Back Sunday are touring England in mid-January 2005 and are playing an impressive array of venues, with support from the excellent, if little-known, My Chemical Romance.

For those who haven't heard, or heard of, either band, they are both Emo-eqsue bands, with some funky riffs that are slightly resemblent of choppy pop-punk and with vocals ranging from screamy and throaty angst-packed lines to melodic harmonies.

To see a list of the venues and dates http://www.aloud.com/cgi-bin/aloud/search.pl?artist=taking+back+sunday&townfree=town&go1.x=0&go1.y=0

I've got tickets for the Leeds Met gig already.

Start wetting yourselves in anticipation, folks, this is going to be immense.

You going to be going to a gig highly excitable?

Where else are they playing besides Leeds?

Oh yeah, and don't forget "Hang 'Em High", as it's also brilliant.

Headfirst for Halos is where it's at dude.

For £12 it's a pretty good and decent priced gig.

You should go.

I was planning to go to that, but it's a bit hardcore for me.

Although "Setting Fire To Sleeping Giants" is a brilliant Dillenger song.

TBS and MCR sounds like an amzing gig though, I love MCR.

"Thankyou For The Venom" and "Drowning Lessons" being my favourite songs.

I heard they were good at Leedsfest a few years ago too, hopefully it'll be a good night out.

Not heard much about my chemical romance live, though. But their songs are pretty good.

Saw Taking Back Sunday live over the summer at the "Vans Warped Tour". They were pretty good. Well, good enough to make me go out and buy their new album. Their stuff is mostly similar but meh...it's all good.

Dillinger actually scare me.

If I did go to see them it'd be for Poison the Well rather than Dillinger, and it seems rather absurd to go to a gig merely for the support band. Poison the Well are touring in 2005 I think though, so I'll hold out.

Not my type anyway.

They're rubbish emo/screamo.

Elliott and Sunny Day Real Estate are emo. SDRE and Mineral etc go a bit whiny..at times.

But Elliott. *mwah!*
