"JBL worst champ ever"

Is it me or is JBL the worst champion ever?? he won the title from the second worst champion ever!! look down the years the guys who have worn the WWE/WWF title: Ultimate Warrior, Hogan, HBK, Bret Hart, Austin, Rock and Macho Man, the list of great names could go on but this past year i've never seen two worst champs in my long 14 years of watching Wrestling! there are a few guys on Smackdown who are worthy of the title right now: Undertaker, Kurt Angle and The Big Show! so let me know what you think about our crap champion!

I agree that there isn't much between Eddie and Kurt. I'd probably agree with you now Cong. Angle just doesn't seem the same with all this neck trouble. Maybe I'm just seeing things that aren't there.

I like both of them lots but Angle just edges it for me as anyone who can pull a decent match out of the Big Show has to be super talented

For me, Eddie is a better all-round wrestler than Kurt. But each to his own and taking nothing away from Kurt, he is a phenomenal athlete.

I'm not explaining myself very well, as usual. How about you outline the reasons why you think Eddie is the second worst champ ever in detail and I'll have a look at them and respond?

I also don't think JBL is the worst champ ever. He's one of the worst in recent history but not the worst ever.

You can't rate people in their prime all those years ago compared to now. The industry has changed too much. RVD's recent work has been lacking motivation for a while.

I'd rather judge them for the abilities they have now. Angle first, Eddie second in my book.

Leave the past in the past. That era served it's purpose and now there are new people at the top. Some aren't ready, some are. Eddie was ready and worked his hardest. The Smackdown writers just made a complete mess of it.

Yeah, the writers would probably make Eddie win because the majority of the names you mentioned have left, retired, died, only work part time etc and they would need to put their full timer over.

At the end of the day, Eddie's in ring work eclipses everyone on Smackdown besides Angle.

End of the day put any WWF/WWE champ in the ring with Eddie when they are both in their prime and i know who would win! Eddie vs Hogan, Austin, Rock, HHH, Warrior, Macho Man, Bret, Yokozuna, HBK, Lesnar, Angle would all beat Eddie! the only guys Eddie would give a run for there money is Vince and Slaughter!

That's a load of codswallop. The rating were in the toilet before Eddie won the title and they were still in the toilet after he won the title. Contrary to popular (and WWE management) belief, the fans do not switch on or turn off based solely on the champion. Did the fans stop tuning in after Steve Austin lost the strap? No, because he was still on the show. Did the fans tune in when Bret Hart became champ? No, because the show was awful at the time. You can't blame everything on the champion. Will the fans suddenly tune in when Angle recaptures the belt? Well, my money would be on a resounding 'no', because Smackdown is awful.
