Decided I have to get this, will be around the end of January when I (finally) have BB.

Anyone here planning on playing this? I've decided on being a Night Elf Rogue so if anyone wants to create a party with me you'll have to be one of the Alliance races.

Been reading about it and it sounds brilliant so, yeah.

Good news my good friend - i have rang them up! They have them in stock, but they are limited, so i took the liberty of asking them to put one to one side for you!

"What name is it please??!"
"Urrrrr.....Martin?"
"Ok Martin, I'll put your name on one!"

So go in and say i rang up earlier to ask you to reserve me a WoW Beta Key - The names Martin....

....And that's not my name by the way!

No need to thank me!

When you actually pre-ordered the game online they sent you a key, but you had to actually pay up-front for the game, so you won't be getting the key for 3 pounds really. Besides, that offer is off now, i think. However, there's a few people trying to make money on eBay - I'd say you'd be able to buy a new and sealed key for a fiver - which is still low considering. And you may be able to talk to the seller, and get them to e-mail you the key - for efficiency !

I'm going to ring White-Rose game for you now...

I can stop off at the White Rose one. Are the beta keys not available online?

Well, to an extent. But Warcraft 3 is too hard for my liking - don't let it put you off WoW! Still, for 4 snakes you can't really complain.

Anymore *game* shops you could try?

Oh fudge.

Well I didn't know! But it should at least teach me about the different classes of characters and that, yeah?

Huh? Isn't Warcraft 3 a C&C RTS ripoff and WOW a MMORPG?
Can't see how one will teach you the basics of another.

Checked the shops in Halifax, sold out :(

No, no cards whatsoever. Just buy the key for 3 quid, and stick the number in once you've downloaded it. Very user friendly! I just hope you've got a fast connection - took me over 24 hours on 512k broadband!

Edit: oh - and if you don't like it, just stop playing it!

Cheers :)

So, if I don't like it, can I just stop playing or do I have to cancel the subscription, even though I have not paid as such?

i.e, do I have to put my card details in, even though it's a beta?
