I love Donkey Kong, I never had the 64 version but I did have 1 and 3 with my SNES, I say my Snes but you get the idea. (Stolen from Brother on arrival of N64...:))

I just wish that maybe the style of gameplay wasn't so all over the place. I think that a 3-D game but just straight, like the first ones but straight, but what are the chances of that. Even Nintendo are open to pathway to glitzy graphics, feel free to hurl abuse but its the truth, you thought, like me that Nintendo would NEVER choose Graphics over gameplay but you wait and see. I bet you a gameaday thingy that some magazines say "...doesn't quite match up to the 64 counterpart, but fun all the same..."

Nintendo games are great, and they are some of my favourites but seriously lads, Nintendo aren't all good, if they were they would have had the Gamecube out a year ago...okay that might be a little Farfetched (I hate Pokémon) but you get the idea. Nintendo, like all other companies r bound to slip up.

God, I'm ramblin'

It's true though, don't expect gameplay to rule over graphics if a bigger 'userthingy' is at steak.

It'll be out with the game, notch up the graphics and voila, and plus with more third-level game makers what is to guarantee the Gamecube versions will provide more fun than their PS2 sisters?!

I know, I don't make sense....lol...:)

10 players on smash bros 2?

Is this a Gamecube game?
Whether it is or not, I know it'll probably be my gameaday choice.

It's games like that that make me thankful I have brothers to play with!

Well Smash Bros 2 will be released with 32 characters (16 unlockable). You can have up to TEN, yes TEN charcaters on the screen and the arena are from a wider variety of games, that's about all I have heard...

No one likes DK anymore?

I still think that he's the best character in Smash Bros and Mario Tennis.

And Donkey Kong Country is STILL the greatest platform game full stop.

Like Grix said, DK has to go back to his linear A-B true platforming Snes roots.

And I dodn't want any more of this punching and kicking and gunning...

I'm hoping that Rare know what they're doing this time round and don't base the game on that stupid "platformers are for kids" stereotype!

It needs to be more linear before I go near it again...

But anyway, are you sure this just means that Donkey Kong will appear in Super Smash Brothers 2? Which is confirmed for E3?

That's what the press are saying, anyway.

Bad news in my book. A deluge of "same old..." is not what the machine needs.

Just my opinion, of course. Needless to say if I get a Cube, this is one game I won't be getting!
