ok its a bit of a generalisation, but all the ones i saw were moaning in the pub about that penalty. Ok it was minimal contact, but at least there was contact from one of your bungling defenders.

before you start moaning again i'd like to remind you of the raping and pillaging you took from pompey last season. Quite possibly their best performance in the top league, and Mr Pires' actions. If you want to moan about a penalty, preach at your own lot first. Outrageous cheating and your run wouldn't even have existed.

on another note the game was unbelievably rubbish, so boring till the peno, which made it interesting just by virtue of the fact A***s historical run was about to be ended

yep i was supporting united cos your still miles behind and being a bitter bastardd didn't want to hear: "we made 50 all the time" 49 doesn't have the ring or prestige of 50. the fact that theres two points in it and they haven't played us yet helps! (and we were the last english team to beat them, only 3 football months ago!)

watch it again it is unbelievably jammy, as he runs into the box lauren (accidentally) steps on his heels and he pretty much falls over it slows him down ridiculously, putting him beautifully in position for the cross which was behind him anyway! had he not have been clipped that pass would have been diabolical.

You have the most flawed logic ever.

You scored the second because Arsenal were on the attack. Arsenal wouldn't have been on the attack if you hadn't got the penalty.

That said, you still deserved the win.

Not to mention Toure's Oscar winning acting in the box as well, strange how no Arsenal fan has mentioned that yet. Plus the challenge from Cole on Ronaldo that wasn't given evens out the penalty decision.

But all this whining and complaining from them makes it oh so much more sweeter :-D

man u scored 2. so even if we werent given the penalty some simple arithmetic shows we still woul dhave won:

2 - 1 = 1. 1>0 therefore united would win

even if it changed the course of the game, who is to say after the pen decision, united wouldn't have scored 3 not 1. eh?

Sorry but i'm not buying that, they're the best team in England, they're the champions and top of the table however what have they done in Europe? Sweet FA that's what and until they perform consistently they're at the same level as they play in England then they won't be the best team in the world at all.
