They still together? I remember hearing a while ago that the vocalist had left, not sure if he returned. Certainly one of my favourite bands or recent times, would love to see them live, although I would imagine such a gig would be pure anarchy, where you get crushed under the feet of a million rampaging moshers.

RATM are legends. Audio slave are rubbish.

If someone says "they're the same, just a differant singer", they're officialy insane, by order of the queen.

Rage's style was unique.

The guitarist had 200 different effects pedals for his guitar, and it went with De La Rocha. It doesn't go with Cornell. Cornell sounds too lazy.

Rage were truly brilliant for the moshpit.

Whilst Chris Cornell is a good vocalist, he can't touch De La Rocha, they're just too different. Also, it will be pretty hard for people to warm to a band that is a sort of rip-off of a fantastic band. This is probably why Audioslave haven't had the success Rage did.

RATM were fricking awesome. As were Soundgarden. Audioslave aren't bad either.

I never got rage.

In fact rage are bullheap.

Never listened to any of their stuff, but in all honesty, I think the vocalist made Rage the great band it was. Wouldn't seem right with anyone else.

Not that Chris Cornell is crap - I loved Soundgarden too. Just two different styles really.
