Is this film any good and should I go and c it? On the trailors it looks awful...

The two Kill Bill films are fantastic, some people have no taste!

As for AVP, I've yet to see it but I know it's taking some flak with the "critics" ...who don't always get it right anyway.

I jumped once at the beginning when the women kicked her foot into the ice, but that was simply because I had my speakers on really loud... However it was a good movie.

I'm going to see it tonight. I'll let you know either way. The 3000-odd people who have already seen it on the site I go to have collectively given it 78%, and they're usually quite good with rating films.

Did it come out recently in the UK, because it came out in August here and is already out of the theatres.

It came out on Thursday here, we get screwed severly for film releases...Hellboy was released about 6 months after the states!!!

Don't you mean is released?
Seeing as it was only released in August in the STates.

My cousin lives in America and his local cinema showed hellboy in May...so it was released 4 months ahead of Britain.

Heh, when I was in America in July, there were adverts for it all over TV saying it was released in August.
I left America befre I came out, and it's not as if I was in Smalltown America, I was in the middle of Orlando.

My mistake...apparently my cousin had benn invited to a test screening, that's why he saw it so early.
