You hear Weapons specialists saying "Oh we've made a Super weapon called the Atom Bomb..then the Nuke" But then you hear the Boastful "We have enough Nuclear bombs to blow the world up 10 times over..so there!!"
But you must ask yourself why make such weapons? Why blow up your own planet 10 times over?

Governments have always been trying to dumb down their people.
There goes circles of people accepting it and trying to ignore it until they push to far and then: revolution. :-)
But yeah, we're pushing forwards.
Sure, it might seem like we create so many attrocities, and it's true that we do. But we always have done, and we ARE getting better. And atleast we'll admit that they're wrong things to do now.
The problem is that nowdays our decisions have bigger consequences than ever, so careful thinking is needed more than ever.
100 years ago, war wasn't even seen as a bad thing, provided you were winning.
Now to invade Iraq, we had to weave a web of lies to convince ourselves that we were doing it to save the Iraqi people, such has become the state of our conscience.
Now we just need to stop kidding ourselves over so many things, and we'll get even better. :-)

However, if at any time we are lumbered with
too much nuclear waste, where is it going to go? Eventually
it will leak, I hear it is sometimes stored underwater in Nuclear
disposal sites, but will it work really?

Based on the findings of the report, my conclusion was that this idea was not a practical deterrent for reasons which at this moment must be all too obvious.

We just have them... for like show, we will probably never use them, unless there is a nuclear war...which will bring nuclear winter! yay snow!
The only time one has been used against another country was in horitima in ww2. that killed 70,000 people. nukes nowadays are like 50 times more powerfull. its pointless.
