Can a freeola member of staff (Afternoon!) please provide some more info on your email autoresponse option and webmail service?

You have been advertising these for some months now - are they ready yet ?
Thanks.

PS. The other day I had a query about the times on your servers. You asked if I had used your 'report a problem feedback system'. It would seem that this 'freeola' forum would be a better place for these sorts of queries. It gives other users a chance to keep up to date or pick something up, and in theory would stop you getting multiple requests for similar queries/problems. If I've got this wrong and you would prefer to have all freeola issues kept 'private' please let me know...
Thanks again.

Does that script you were recommended not work then? From what I can tell, it looks as though it has been specifically designed for Freeola.

I had tried this in the past, using Uebimiau but came unstuck due (I was told) to the recent PHP security changes freeola made (this was a couple of years ago).

This app. was recommended by a freeola staff member on his website:http://www.help.ukpc.net/help/webmail.php

If anyone has successfully installed a webmail application on freeola I would be interested to know which one.

Thanks.

Is there anything stopping you from creating your own webmail facility on Freeola web space? I'm not sure what the T&Cs are regarding this.

If not, either build your own (hard work!), or download/install one of the many freely available ones.

FYI. I have some clients gagging for FREEOLA webmail.
Also some new clients don't want to sign up for FREEOLA domains etc. until this service is available.

Any update would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The service is far nearer completion now. In fact, both are working in our testing.

The hold-up is with the coding of the new Control Panel pages to allow you to use the services.

Webmail will come under a Freedom type of product which will allow you both worldwide Webmail and POP3/SMTP access for a small monthly fee. The essence of such products being that you don't need the Freeola connection to use the service.

A similar offering for web hosting is expected soon.

I've been trying to use uebimiau webmail that gets a mention on this site - BUT keep getting "Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect..." errors.

Is it me, or is this due to your PHP changes back in the summer - I'm afraid I'm a PHP novice...
Thanks.
