Yeh, need a filling on one of my teeth, too many Dr Pepper's apparently, and was just wondering what the procedure was.

Will they put me entirely out, or just locally? Or not at all?

How long will it take, because I'm supposed to be seeing someone an hour after my appointment...

I have had nothing done to my teeth. I have lovely pearly whites.

I go in and sit down. He looks in my mouth and goes, "G4 B9 T16". Ok, you're all set.

Still, it's worth going just to look down the hygienists top.

Why don't they make the filling white?? It's all silver and black. Stoopid.

It took 15 mins, the injections didn't hurt. The drilling felt strange and my face feels weird now. If I push it from the outside, it feels like putty.

You obviously haven't had many ulcers...

Not very...

well... i was only 7 or 8 years old at the time, but if you think about how painful mouth ulcers are...

I don't remember any injections for a filling? Gum injections are the most painful ones you can have. I had 4 when i got some teeth pulled. But for a filling they just sprayed my mouth with this cold stuff...

Local injection.

You can feel the pressure on your jaw and the sound too.

Have fun.

Plus you can't speak afterwards because one side of your mouth is frozen. It's cool.
