I'm conducting a poll thing. Just a few questions.
1) How old are you?
2) What was the first console you owned?
3) Have you ever owned a Nintendo console?
4) Do you think that Nintendo is a childish company?
Simple few word answers, doesn't take long. Ta. :D

Err Nintendo OWN Rare. Why do you think Rare aren't making games for the PS2 or the X-Box or the Dreamcast. Nintendo have a VERY big share/steak in the company...they own them on all but paper...and that is probably soon to change...

4) Yes - But not all of their sub-companies like Rare etc. But Nintendo themselves as in Mario / Pokémon Nintendo are quite childish...but maybe I am young at heart or I like decent games...(Pikachu - Thundershock attack, NOW!...:D)

This post I'm impressed with. Somebody actually admitted they think Nintendo is childish, despite knowing that the 'mature and sensible' option is to say 'No, of course they're not. They make very playable games'. Agreed, their games are very playable, but that doesn't mean they're not childish.
I know I look like a complete hypocrite having said that Nintendo aren't childish, but it's a perfectly valid viewpoint to say they're not. I'm just impressed that anyone would say they are.
