The course itself isn't that bad actually, and at the moment our topic is 'shoes'. Yes, it sounds sad, but at the end of the course we must have produced a sculpture of a weird and abstract shoe.
However, there is loads of homework which really pishes me off seeing as I have a very busy schedule during the week with after school clubs etc.
I've just finished another mammoth homework. Christ it can be annoying, and Art isn't just about drawing. It's also about painting, sculpting etc.
Anyone else here take Art for GCSE? Apparently the final exam is 10 hours long, which doesn't sound too pleasing :S
Oh Holy Lord...
And the exam isn't over 3 weeks, fool.
It's 2 days.
And Welsh is :(

Exactly the same as our school. Except I couldn't be bothered with a "technology" so I wrote to the school and got out of it - took music instead.
As far as languages go, we could do French, German, Latin or Russian....
Option 1:-
History (I picked that)
Geography
German
Music
Option 2:-
History
Geography
Art (I picked that)
Spanish
Long course (you pick one to do a full GCSE in and you do half in the other two):-
IT (I picked that)
Design
Religious Studies
Compulory:-
English
Maths
Biology
Physics
Chemistry
French
PE
Games
There are so many children in my school that couldn't do what they wanted due to the column setup. I was also disappointed as I couldn't do DT Graphics because there weren't enough people on the course :(
I took Geography instead, which is very good seeing as we havea teacher who feelssorry for us and gives us breaks every ten minutes :D

That's such an odd way of doing it. Surely Humanities (RE, Geog, Hist) should be kept together and Expressive Arts (Drama, Art, Music) kept together? :0x
