Being excellent at drawing, I took on Art as one of my GSCE courses last year.

The course itself isn't that bad actually, and at the moment our topic is 'shoes'. Yes, it sounds sad, but at the end of the course we must have produced a sculpture of a weird and abstract shoe.

However, there is loads of homework which really pishes me off seeing as I have a very busy schedule during the week with after school clubs etc.

I've just finished another mammoth homework. Christ it can be annoying, and Art isn't just about drawing. It's also about painting, sculpting etc.

Anyone else here take Art for GCSE? Apparently the final exam is 10 hours long, which doesn't sound too pleasing :S

We get 4 hours a fornight

That will raise to five next year and I'll get four for Geography instead of five.

Once I finish GCSEs I want to take A-Levels in IT, Art and Graphics, then go onto Uni.

If I get through that I want to get into the games industry, designing for big companies like EA.

We all have our dreams huh :)

Once you start A-Levels, GCSE's are a piece of urine.

And well, once you start a degree, A-Levels are much the same :0D

Art was crap. I got an F, I think, although I bunked 95% of my classes.

I done it mainly for photography (which I am studying at college)...I'm crap at art, really.

The exam is easy. I spent my 10 hours on the PC, using Photoshop to make a few graphics.
