i got this today, only 1 shop had it, out of 4 game shops and all the usual highsteet outlets.
Started playing it on single player and it is quite nice, the ammount of enemies u can be fighting at once is mamoth, using formations gives the game a stratigic edge.
The graphics are crap but strangely good at the same time, with smoke effects and sparks etc.
The puzzles i can see develeping into something quite hard, alreaddy had to think about a few, they are also good.
You can only carry one item at a time, as well as your sword, no inventory, i was quite bemused by this at first, but, it kinda makes sense when u get into the swing of the game, having to swap between items adds depth to the puzzles, and gives it a bit of a feel of a survivor horor feel, altho only slightly.

You move to different sections with a game map a bit like pikmins, except with different areas, and can only save at the end of a level.
anyway i'm quite enjoying it but is this inovation on behalf of Nintendo or not? surely they could have made new sounds and new graphics rarther than just rehash old 1's?
I look forward to playing multiplayer, i have heard its the best bit.

Zelsa games have never been that popular.

Zelda games on the other hand are and so I'd say gerrid is right. It isn't good that it's so hard to find a copy of the game and Nintendo should be doing more to push it. If nobody can find a copy then nobody then nobody will be able to buy it which is bad news for everybody.

ok I was a bit over the top but out of 4 Game shops only 1 had it. This is a NEW Zelda game. Surely Nintendo should be pushing it. The very fact that 3 of the shops didnt have any copies means that Nintendo are selling less copies.

Nah don't be stupid, Woolworths, Argos and Virgin are great places to buy the console, Gamecube consoles are sold there. Most people buy games from major and independant retailers or the internet.

Look, woolworths don't stock the latest game for the X-box, Miami Vice, either and nor do Virgin.

Because it isn't a major release, also games released in JAnuary aren't popular games anyway.

Zelda 4 swords was always gonna get limited coverage.

And that isn't a problem because...
See how it IS a problem when you can't buy new ly released games? DO YOU SEE? you can't possibly put a positive light on this because it is negative.

GAME and Gamestation have it.

Oh and Argos haven't ditched the Gamecube.
