Forthose of you who don't know...I recently got married to fellow (and better known) SR poster Lucy-Jane and well...life doesn't feel any different. I was really expecting post-married life to be different to pre-married life, but it really isn't....

Buying a house was a life-changing experience, as was getting a first full-time proper job and graduating of course. But I have come to the conclusion that...

Marriage = Over-rated.

Discuss.

So you've got all the best bits out of it?

Good luck with the amicable divorce then. ;P

How exactly did you expect it to be different though? You are still in a relationship with the same person, have the same friends, same job etc etc. Being married doesn't qualify you for extra perks, an Aston Martin, 5 bedroom detatched house, and Oral (B) on request?

It amazes me how many people say they thought post-married life will be different or that they expected to feel different, but they never say how!!

Heh. When my cousin got married she had Bridesman instead of Bridesmaids. It was an interesting look for nuptuals...

All 30 of my relatives were there (7 people in total) and it was great that my dad/cousin/uncle gave me away. His wife (who is my other brother, Brian Bivan) was maid of honour.

The tartan was a delightful juxtaposition of pink and khaki.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Continue this excellent work...
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do, I am delighted.
