Yep, Sega have gone an released one of the 'Cubes most original and fun games onto the XBOX and PS2 - Super Monkey Ball.

Yep, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe will be rolling onto XBOX and PS2 pretty soon. A package that conatins SMB 1 and 2, plus with over 60 extra floors.

The 'why' is a mystery, because Sega fetched in cash-a-plenty from the SMB games and were very surprised to see it had developed such a large fanbase.

Does anyone know why Sega are releasing this on XBOX/PS2?

Fine, extreme violence. Violence that involves death and blood. Tom and Jerry always survive don't they?

Translation:
They do those games (Pop Idol, etc.) as PS2 is owned by children who like those kind of games. Their older brothers, if they have any, or their fathers might like to play GTA games and other good gory games and because those games sell on PS2, the companies will earn themselves a lot of money.

Nothing wrong with this - just means more people can experience SMB.

Sega will probably port a few "Xbox/PS2-only" games to the Cube now anyway, so you needent worry.

They do those games as PS2 is owed by children who like those games while there older brothers is they have any if not there fathers might like to play GTA games and other good gory games, and as they can sell on that console they will have themselves some money.

Why would anyone think that the playstation is a manly console when they still do those crap pop idol games, those dance mat games, and even the telletubbies and powerpuff girls games????

I'll attempt to explain what I meant by cartoon game.
1. Bright colours
2. Unrealistic characters
3. Lack of violence

I admit that cartoon wasn't the best description, it's just that the majority of these games are very cartoony.
