Okay, so here's the new SSC topic:

Shard of Light

It can play as big or small a part in your story as you like. Hopefully it isn't too crappy and uninspiring a topic. ;-)

No real rules, just remember to add SSC12 to your title, and try not to make things too long. Also, one entry per-person.

Closing date is October 22nd.

Sorry to all of you who didn't get to the top three. Really, this was the hardest thing ever to judge because I liked all of the stories so much. Well done to everyone, and a special mention Fozz, just because I loved the storybook charm of it so much.

I'm feeling inspired at the moment and it won't last for long.

Should have been 200 words.

A lot of my SSC things are just inside the 450 word limit as it is!

EB did, and doubled the word limit.

Shame, 200 words would be funny...

Maybe someone should do a Mini SSC - under 200 words or something - until Meka comes back.

I just had a thought. I'm the only non-notable to be on the list. I'm keeping it real people!

I haven't written for ages.

Sometime I'll be able to look back at this day and laugh at my stupidity.

For now I'll have to settle with rocking back and forth in a dark room crying.
