Last time that happened was the start of the year, "Don't Speak in English" by Chip Taylor & Carrie Rodriguez.
And it's happened again, last song a CD done for me.
"Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley.
Just Buckley and his guitar, plain and simple. An incredible voice, makes Thom Yorke seem like the gimpy student-wannabe he is.
A soaring, soulful voice with a beautiful, sensual cover of a Leonard Cohen song.
Check it out if you've never heard it.
"Well, maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
It's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah"

Nah, she really is too wide-faced!

No shame in it, Cheryl Tweedie is bloody gorgeous, even if a violent racist.

I think I'd prefer Cheryl to Brian.
(I'd just like to point out that I had to look up her name ... )
Without patronising you, if you haven't got Grace the album, I suggest you do. There's other stuff out there but much of it is very samey, just stick to the one album proper.

And you're questioning my manland credentials?!? What's wrong with finding the idea of rutting meaninglessly and violently with 5 young lovlies, preferably simultaneously?

That's odd, I did exactly the same at the weekend after trying to deal with the sheer mouthbreathing encountered on a trip into Harlow town centre (having no car meant I was forced to deal with the troglydytes here).
Again, after a good 2 minutes of single-breath expletive filled ranting at various zombies there followed a silence.
With a "You would so get blown if I was there right now, like a thirsty kitten would I be. I like this you"

Which is odd, because I'd rather roll around with Brian Blessed than those wide-faced slaterns.
