Last time that happened was the start of the year, "Don't Speak in English" by Chip Taylor & Carrie Rodriguez.
And it's happened again, last song a CD done for me.
"Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley.
Just Buckley and his guitar, plain and simple. An incredible voice, makes Thom Yorke seem like the gimpy student-wannabe he is.
A soaring, soulful voice with a beautiful, sensual cover of a Leonard Cohen song.
Check it out if you've never heard it.
"Well, maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
It's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah"
Although I do find their videos strangely hypnotic...

Jeff Buckley never sounds like any sort of fool.
Warbling genius, maybe.
> Cheryl Tweedie is bloody gorgeous, even if a violent racist.

That made me laugh. Several times, a quietly appreciative chuckle.
Is she the "celeb" that was charged with assaulting some woman in a nightclub toilet?
Come to Harlow, there are several "clubs" that are full of shiny-faced drunken racists fighting in toilets.
Matt.
Which is really quite sad.
