The last thing Nintendo needed is the news that Rockstar are planning a GTA game for the PSP and that it will be released somewhere around the March US launch, let battle commence.

Nintendo DS is being launched in Aus in February for under £100...

So they're planning it now. But it'll be out for the March US launch.

That gives them two months to make the game you cretin.

Indeed, £81 to be precise. I was going to do a topic: "PAL DS Release Date" but meh.

If Nintendo can do that there and get it out before the PSP then I'm hoping they'll manage the same in Europe. It'd be a very wise move if they did.

Home console games don't succeed on handhelds, well not always, look how badly MGS did!

ANd look at the FIFA 2005 game - looks rubbish, and the Urbz and the rest. They're like cheap imitation games.

It is further proof of Sony commisoning home console games on a handheld.

I've said it before it won't work.

GTA has lost some of its appeal anyway, and of course adults don't buy handhelds.

Yep, I'm a late teen - used to have a Gameboy Color - never even loom at it anymore.

Maybe if Rockstar produced a GTA for kids - but it ain't gonna happen
