Some police avoid serious accidents all their careers. I’ve now had two in just over a week.

What got me the most? Was it the gory scenes this time? No, it wasn’t. It was the feeling of helplessness.

I then dealt with a sudden death in the afternoon.

I need to vent, but I can’t find the words. Muh!

probably because your job exposes you to people with REAL problems, not the kinda of everyday crap that we all have to deal with, but proper problems. It's gotta mess with your head a little, it's to be expected.

Yeah, I’m feeling a whole lot of nothing at the moment. I just don’t feel myself of late. I feel more cynical. I feel more aggressive towards people over-reacting to pap. I just feel confused and not myself. I've already said that? Yes.

In my experience, the only so much helplessness you can feel - eventually you wear out that feeling and it is replaced with nothing.

Feeling helpless is always a horrible feeling. Believe me, I've been there, and unfortunetly when issues such as love get screwed into it, you're even worse. You need time to yourself.

Helplessness is the first step to becoming Batman, you know. I guess all you can do is the best you can.

Can't imagine that well how you're feeling at the moment, so do well with it.
