I'm allowed to give blood as of next year, but I don't know if my blood is up for it, I used to faint all the time a few years back, low blood pressure I had, dunno if that would affect anything.

Same on both counts and it's 8 pints for a bloke, no idea about women.
I personally didn't feel faint at all, even after the 1st time. Have had trainees a couple times that couldn't find a vein, resulting in a nice black bruise for a couple days \m/
