Earlier today I ventured to the post office, and before I knew it, both my eyebrows had gone. Don't worry though, you can fashion draft excluders into convincing replacements. The only downside is I have a mono-brow making me look inherently evil.

Actually I love it (the wind) - I have my window wide open listening to the trees swaying all night. Inside every mono-browed evil looking lunatic beats the heart of a poet.

Ah Myst, are there any unusual air pressures round your area?

I love wind and rain, providing it stops immediatly before I step outside.

If my blinds are up, then its too light outside, and flies and stuff get in.

that's weird, I got ear ache on the way to the post office. I think it must have been the pressure. My eyes were even starting to hurt. I feared I may be bed ridden by tonight, but a hot dinner and cup of tea soon dispelled those fears.

why not draw your blinds up? or do you not have curtains as well?

at the risk of sounding smug, I have both.

me too, it's 100% soothing. Plus, we have a motorway not far from the house, so the howling wind and hammering rain blanks all that drone out.

No diesel lorry crescendos for me tonight!

When the windows are open, my blinds crack against the window sills, the repetitive sound soothing me to go to sleep but waking everyone else up.

I have such power.

I find the wind blowing or the rain hitting my window very comforting when trying to sleep.
