According to certain sources the CS:S update will be coming at 8pm tonight. Included are a load of improvements to game. The main improvement being the inclusion of improved Bots from the last game. Finally I will be able to play a semi-decent game on my LAN!

The "ready to play in approximately..." thing is wonderful.

Then, about 30 seconds later... "44 seconds remaining".
Of course, this is after it went from 59 minutes remaining to 3 minutes remaining in the space of 15 seconds.

Yeah. I finally got it to work after starting CS for the fourth time.
Wont automatically update and servers too busy to simply start CS and force an update.

Just started downloading.
As long as it doesn't hog my Bandwidth :D
The crappy Blizzard Downloader for WoW swallowed nearly all my bandwidth and used more of it to upload rather than download!
I'll set it running when I get in then.

It was running the background, but I was doing other downloads and stuff. I'd say all in all it took me a couple of hours on 1mb. Remember, I'm doing other stuff. (I.e. all my ports taken up by a legal bittorent download)
I think you'll be fine doing it while playing WOW. check the steam monitor, you'll probably be part way through (if you're on automatic updates).

It seems I'm going to have to uninstall XFire yet again if I want to play any more Steam games. It's buggering up again.
