OMG etc

jisms:
everything

Slightly bad:
Leon takes up a lot of the screen

This game is teh roxor. I've been walking through an off track pathway shooting out angry french people's kneecaps so they go down quicker. No more sissy auto aim. Then as they collapse to their knees I run up and round house kick them across the face.

Then I arrived at the village, got mobbed by villagers with pitchforks and scythes. My clip ran out and there was no time to reload (you can't do that inventory reload 'cheat' now either) so I ran across the village and headed into a house and barricaded the door. Cue loony paper bag man appearing and waving a chainsaw around, other villagers bring ladders and set them up to the upstairs window.

I ponce around looking for items and chainsaw man cuts through my wooden barricade, narrowly avoiding him I run up stairs and grab a shotgun off the wall. Seeing villagers climbing the ladder and starting to get in the room I realised I'm trapped, so I run into a corner between the bed where they can't get behind me and pull out the shotgun.

Unfortunatly I was a bit too slow and chainsaw man promptly decapitates me, blood gushes everywhere and 'You Are Dead' appears on the screen.

You want this game.

Also of note, walking into a shack to find a woman pinned a few feet off the ground by means of a pitchfork through the face, "No sex discrimination here" says Leon..

What advantages does the attachable scope have for the assault rifle, as it already has one in-built? Just wondering if it's worth the extra cost fitting it.

And I'm really loving this game, so much so that I always seem to find myself playing it longer than I should. Glad to see that Capcom are trying something new, I was sceptical at first but this has turned out to be the rejuvenation the series has been needing for some time.

Sorry didnt look at it much. Looks weird tho'. Loving the game so far. That gigantic ass thing was a mother. Running round shooting him, before just getting pounded :P Tho it was funny seeing the villages taking a beating.

Ah been upgrading the first pistol a bit, not a lot, worth 22g now which is nice. Just got the option to buy the Red09. So get rid of the pistol for this? I've just got enough space to store a shotgun and rifle aslongside this I think. Damn I need a larger case. So is the Red09 a pistol or a rifle? Or a bit of both?

I upgraded the first shotgun/rifle etc - otherwise, they're pretty much useless. So yes, upgrade - don't bother with the first pistol, as it sucks anyway.

Just get the Red09 and keep that forever - and it's obvious you'll get new rifles etc, so yes, upgrade - but don't go overboard. Just upgrade firepower rather than anything else, and once you get a big gun, upgrade that. I won't spoil it and tell you which guns, but you'll know.

Anyway, upgraded guns sell for a lot more.

Saw footage of it today, looks a Resi version of The Thing. Do you have team-mates every-so-often like The Thing?

That's a quality game.

Someone tell me if it really is worth upgrading earlier weapons. I spent a few grand upgrading the standard pistol, only to get a better looking one free. What do I do, keep the new one, or keep upgrading the old? Currently cash reserves are quite low :(

Haha, yeah, very true. Random lava under the castle. I'm just glad that silly cow decided not to follow me in there. She would've got torched.

That lava bit is stunning. If a little out of place? I thought it was a tad weird, but the effects were so lovely I was happy.
