Leon takes up a lot of the screen



This game is teh roxor. I've been walking through an off track pathway shooting out angry french people's kneecaps so they go down quicker. No more sissy auto aim. Then as they collapse to their knees I run up and round house kick them across the face.

Then I arrived at the village, got mobbed by villagers with pitchforks and scythes. My clip ran out and there was no time to reload (you can't do that inventory reload 'cheat' now either) so I ran across the village and headed into a house and barricaded the door. Cue loony paper bag man appearing and waving a chainsaw around, other villagers bring ladders and set them up to the upstairs window.

I ponce around looking for items and chainsaw man cuts through my wooden barricade, narrowly avoiding him I run up stairs and grab a shotgun off the wall. Seeing villagers climbing the ladder and starting to get in the room I realised I'm trapped, so I run into a corner between the bed where they can't get behind me and pull out the shotgun.

Unfortunatly I was a bit too slow and chainsaw man promptly decapitates me, blood gushes everywhere and 'You Are Dead' appears on the screen.


You want this game.



Also of note, walking into a shack to find a woman pinned a few feet off the ground by means of a pitchfork through the face, "No sex discrimination here" says Leon..

Bah not liking the island the enemies are harder, but the dude with the chain gun made me laugh.

it's classic Resi but it's still sad.

I found the way leon dies hilarious :D

He should have turned to the camera and winked.

Those were the best/worst things ever.

My favourite Resi moment EVER is when Leon calls Hunnigan for the first tim:

"so the subject's name is Ashley Graham, right?"
ahahahaah. Why wold he ask that? He OBVIOUSLY knows who she is and what her name is, he has no reason to ask Hunnigan whatsoever. It's ludicrous.

An interesting conspiracy theory goes that Hunnigan is actually Ada Wong. Figure that one out...

Mmm ... that's just rubbish.
It wouldn't take much effort to put in whichever gun you're holding, or even just the handgun you've got, or even just nothing at all.

Would make things flow a little better.

I think in the little scene when he picks up the codec walkie-talkie thinger you keep whatever gun you're holding.

Alternatively, there's a very long time between when Ada calls for backup and when it actually arrives - in which Leon kills Krauser and Saddler and completes the game. THAT makes sense. What doesn't make sense is her change of clothes - but hey - it's Resi. Leon uses his Handgun in all the cutscenes, regardless of whether you actually have one or not.

Well it couldn't be AFTER Leon fights Krauser, because he's well and truly dead there (although in Resi world a corpse usually doesn't count for much *Wesker*), but in Ada's little briefcase she has the sample that she picked up from Saddler. So either that's a different sample, and the whole thing happens just after Leon clears that part of the island through, or Krauser has come back to life, which wouldn't be so weird, even though his heart did burst.
