OMG etc

jisms:
everything

Slightly bad:
Leon takes up a lot of the screen

This game is teh roxor. I've been walking through an off track pathway shooting out angry french people's kneecaps so they go down quicker. No more sissy auto aim. Then as they collapse to their knees I run up and round house kick them across the face.

Then I arrived at the village, got mobbed by villagers with pitchforks and scythes. My clip ran out and there was no time to reload (you can't do that inventory reload 'cheat' now either) so I ran across the village and headed into a house and barricaded the door. Cue loony paper bag man appearing and waving a chainsaw around, other villagers bring ladders and set them up to the upstairs window.

I ponce around looking for items and chainsaw man cuts through my wooden barricade, narrowly avoiding him I run up stairs and grab a shotgun off the wall. Seeing villagers climbing the ladder and starting to get in the room I realised I'm trapped, so I run into a corner between the bed where they can't get behind me and pull out the shotgun.

Unfortunatly I was a bit too slow and chainsaw man promptly decapitates me, blood gushes everywhere and 'You Are Dead' appears on the screen.

You want this game.

Also of note, walking into a shack to find a woman pinned a few feet off the ground by means of a pitchfork through the face, "No sex discrimination here" says Leon..

I wouldn't worry too much. It's not really that scary. I like to play it alone and in the dark to try and increase the intensity, but even then it doesn't really have much of an affect on me.

It's very eerie in places, but nothing so bad that you will soil yourself. :)

I admit I might soil myself while I play it but I'll still take your advice. I'll just wear a nappy.

It's the best GC game that money can buy at the moment. This is a no-brainer. Buy it.

There are not better games. Buy. Oh and they will question about you being 15 for Resi4. 15 with a red ring means you have to be 15, 15 with anything else is a suggestion.

He's not really like the boxes.

My advice would be to buy and upgrade a red09 and your standard shotgun, (don't buy the riot shotgun), and get the semi-auto rifle, and upgrade that. Firepower and capacity are probably the most important, and I'd always uprade firepower over everything else. If you have some spare money, then buy the magnum when you get the opportunity, it will come in very useful later, although the ammo is scarce so dont use it as a replacement handgun or anything.

Sell off your handgun and your punisher if you're going for the Red09. If you have some money then buy a TMP + Stock, because it just means that you can use all the TMP ammo lying around and not let it go to waste.

Oh, and if you eve get the chance make sure you buy a larger attache case, they make life a helluva lot easier.

Any recommendations on the best weapons to keep and upgrade?

Finished off that boss that comes just after the cable car. Were you recommending a rocket launcher for that? Probably right, it would have been useful but not essential. Shotgun and the TMP did the job well enough.

Buy a rocket launcher when you've done that bit. Trust me
