What I do know is that I haven't got this excited over game releases since the launch of the Gamecube. And that's a long time.
Resident Evil 4 and Timesplitters 3 are being released either on the same day or a week apart... 2 of my most anticipated games of the year coming to me at once. I just hope Mario Tennis and Jungle Beat can sustain me through the coming weeks!
Starfox Assault is also due rather soon and that is also a game I am really anticipating.
Anyone else getting caught up in the whole hype wheel??
I mean then there's Geist, and Viewtiful Joe 2, and The Legend of Zelda...
2005 is gonna be a good, good year.

Thats because NOE don't know what the word 'hype' actually means!
For instance, they could be promoting the Nintendo DS NOW if they really wanted to. You dont need a release date, all they need to do is (like many films do) at the end of the advert say 'Coming Soon'.
Ive said it before, in the States advertising for the Cube is widespread. The Super Mario Sunshine ads were on virtually every time there was an ad break on mainstream stations, not at 3am on some bizarre cable channel!

Funny.
Online it should be the new Unreal type of FPS blaster.
> I'm getting a good feeling about Starfox.
So am I, the hype wheel is turning in the states.
Why can't they do that over here?
> Timesplitters 3 would if it didn't look exactly like TS2.
No it doesn't.
Nothing much else to look forward too though, except the rehashes of the usual (mario tennis, timesplitters, starfox etc etc)
