"Where were you on 9/11?"

I was on holiday in Florida. We were due to fly back to the UK on September 11th just before it happened. What was really strange is we were about to leave the villa when my mom said she forgot something, she was taking ages as women do... so I decided to put the TV on, and seconds later we saw the plane just fly into the second building. If we hadnt gone back into the house & turned the TV on, we would have been stranded at the airport, luckily for us the villa owners let us stay there for a week extra free of charge. The flight home was probably the worst experience of my life, we had one of the first flights out of the USA, and I crapped myself cos there were a lot of suspicious looking asian men boarding the plane.

Yeah, let's have a Music Of Female Origin Awards too, and a Music Of Spastic Origin and a Music Of Fat Origin.

a more valid point would be that we have a bbc radio asia and an urban bbc (which is pretty much exclusively black). Puddleface is right if you set up "whiteboy fm" you'd get slaughtered.

Puddleface has been harshly laid into here. he had every right to be suspicious of a group of asians on the plane, in a week were so much hype and negative reporting was attributed to him, it was as he said natural fear not racism. of he had acted against them based upon an ungrounded fear then he would have been racist.

You are a lone woman walking home on the way back from the pub, there have been reports of a 10 rapist in the area. you go past several other lone women and several lone men, which is most likely to heighten you sense of fear. The men, does that make you a sexist? no so don't throw around cheap accusations of racism at him

Because obviously, the way to stop sexism/racism is to swing the balance hugely in the other direction.

Exactly, it's positive discrimination.

You can bet your life if there had been a 'Music From White Origin' awards ceremony there would have been an outcry.

I swear I remember it happening before lunch time too because my DT lessons were always in the morning, or so I remember :s
