I was on holiday in Florida. We were due to fly back to the UK on September 11th just before it happened. What was really strange is we were about to leave the villa when my mom said she forgot something, she was taking ages as women do... so I decided to put the TV on, and seconds later we saw the plane just fly into the second building. If we hadnt gone back into the house & turned the TV on, we would have been stranded at the airport, luckily for us the villa owners let us stay there for a week extra free of charge. The flight home was probably the worst experience of my life, we had one of the first flights out of the USA, and I crapped myself cos there were a lot of suspicious looking asian men boarding the plane.

I was bored to death at work. Didn't believe my Sister when she told me. It was only when I got home and put Sky News on that it sunk in - this was about 17:00 UK time.

Actually the first plane hit around half one in the afternoon and the other one around half an hour (ish) later. I remember cos I saw the second one hit live on the TV.

It was my day off and I was waiting for Diagnosis Murder and was pretty miffed when they cancelled it for a news bulletin.
Then I posted it on here and blah blah
