My dad's salary has went up about 8% from last year as he got a raise. So, when filling in the form for University this year I put he had an increased wage, knowing they'd take a bit off it.
They've taken 65-70% of my loan off me... how they work this one out I have no idea. I don't take handouts from my parents anyway so basically I'm a lot of money down, not enough to afford transport and books.

As suggested before, phoning them would be your best bet, thats a ridiculous amount to take off.

they need to understand that just because you're under 25, doesn't mean you get it all paid for you. it's a royal pain in the ass and they seem to be incredibly blinkered towards this type of circumstance >:-(

As far as I was aware, everyone is entitled to 75% of the loan, with the other 25% being income assessed, so that sounds a bit odd. Maybe give the SLC a ring?
