As many of your know (and remind me about often) I'm 31 years old.

How many of you youngsters own a car? How much is your insurance?

I just renewed my insurance on my - guess how much it cost.

Some figures to help you ...

. Value of car = £11,000
. It's kept in a locked garage
. Used for social, domestic and pleasure purposes only
. I do about 10,000 miles a year
. Protected no-claims bonus for life
. I have 3 points on my license for speeding

The person who gets closest wins, erm, a quid via PayPal.

If I manage to get a scholarship for Uni this year (and my odds are pretty good, with very few people actually going for it, as it's through my dads work, but they only give out 1 (sometimes 2, annually)), then, coupled with teh summer work and part time work I'll have over the next 4-5 years, I'll be coming out of Uni with about 50k in excess.

And I'll be 21/22 (can't be bothered to work it out), so by then my insurance costs should have dropped.

Wonder what I'll do with that money.
