As many of your know (and remind me about often) I'm 31 years old.

How many of you youngsters own a car? How much is your insurance?

I just renewed my insurance on my - guess how much it cost.

Some figures to help you ...

. Value of car = £11,000
. It's kept in a locked garage
. Used for social, domestic and pleasure purposes only
. I do about 10,000 miles a year
. Protected no-claims bonus for life
. I have 3 points on my license for speeding

Bah, did a pretend quote on Churchill.com last night to see how much my insurance would be if I took it out now.

£820.

That's if I was still living at home, still 21 and still with no NCB.

All that will change by the time I need to renew - I'll be living in a less-rough area, I'll be 22 and I'll have 1 year's NCB. I also now have Pass Plus, which helps a little.
