In amongst the squeeky, jabbering nonsense they were making I heard them say how great a Playstation 4 would look on it.
These kids were no older than 11.. the same age range that Nintendo and Pokemon should typically suit.
Seems like they have their choices planned for the next 10 years.
It really shouldn't be real.
An interesting bundle of speculation on Cubed3 about Revolution, Mario 128 and Nintendo "changing". Gyro controllers? Hope not.
But they run the risk of losing the child market.
And if Nintendo fail to appeal to adults.
They end up having neither market.
And Nintendo fall.
Revolution is supposed to be aimed at the mainstream.
Guess it'll be interesting.
And yes, VERY true!
Nintendo have been (whether they like it or not) pulling in the younger end of the market forever. There have been games along the way to show promise but it just never happens.
Let's face it, you only have to look as far as Pokemon Dash on the DS and that just says it all for me.
Get the sport and racing games sorted and they stand a chance. But no doubt Pokemon Golf will make an appearance before any vaguely half-decent racing game on ANY of Nintendo's consoles.
That advert was AWFUL!
And desperation really did come to mind...
The Sony adverts tend to be sleek that "imply" adultness at most.
This was like a little 5 year old jumping up and down shouting "I AM an adult! Look at me! I've grown so big!"
:-D

Which you "borrowed" from Edgy.
