It really concerns me that people be so warped with this. When they fail to see that everything they seem to beleive about America's freedom/democracy is just a farce.
Don't worry only one of them can win
I think that sums it all up really, but then over here isn't much better. You look at Labour, Tories and co and think not who'll do the best job but who's going to screw you over the least

Doesnt matter does it? Anyone in power in America is corrupt.

Yeh but you wouldnt want to vote democrat in America anyway. Everyone gets their say, and then one man gets the final choice.
THATs democracy???

That's a fair enough view; I probably will highlight applicable areas once I find parts of the book I find relevant.

And yet, you keep summing up your opinion anyway. So don't be too surprised to find that opinion being attacked.
Fair point though; accusing you of deliberately lying is a little strong and I apologise. It's far more accurate to accuse you of ignorance, and only seeing the arguments in Moore's books that you want to see.

Yup, read both of 'em thanks. That's why I'm taking such issue with your little summary of their contents.

'Lying' is a strong and innacurate statement to be making Light. Again I will repeat; that I can only sum up my full opinions upon completion of the books. Light; have you personally read the book? As if you haven't I can't see the point in a discussion until at least one of us has.

Heh. Then why do you then proceed to give an assessment on your thoughts straight away?

Ahh, I see; so now you're actually moving the goalposts and coming up with a definition of Illuminati that fits in with what Moore has said, rather than Moore saying anything remotely like what the Illuminati are commonly accepted to be among the lunatic theorist community?
A 'similar complex'? Let me get this straight; you haven't read the books, and it's painfully obvious that you don't anything of the background to the Illuminati myth, yet you feel qualified to say that the one supports the other?
Did you ever stop to consider the possibility (as Moore does, and as he blatently states) that there is no over-reaching and over-riding conspiracy? Simply a bunch of Stupid White Men who want to get rich, and don't consider anything beyond that? The people whom you state are "all in cahoots" that are mentioned in Moore's books are all members of the Republican party. One hardly needs to manufacture a secret conspiracy with oneself as the person to solve it when one only has to look at their political affiliation.

And yet, Moore mentions nothing about conspiracy. In fact, he goes the opposite way; stating that the only 'conspiracy' is an unco-ordinated and grasping attempt to make money. Know who the only person is who links a long discredited conspiracy in? That would be you. So in fact, you're lying entirely about any conspiracy linking into anything mentioned by Moore.
