Well at this point your path variables clearly dont correspond to where the files actually are. So of course its not going to work. :)

Oh I have it like this

www.learn-the-language.com/cgi-bin/poll/polnow.cgi
www.learn-the-language.com/cgi-bin/poll/templates/files
www.learn-the-language.com/cgi-bin/poll/logs/files
www.learn-the-language.com/cgi-bin/poll/images/files

Oops I wasnt suppose to put them all in the cgi-bin?

Well I cant help but wonder where the folder is then..
This is the path it looked for..

/home/USERNAME/public_html/logs/pollnow1.log

The corresponding URL for that would be
http://www.learn-the-language.com/logs/pollnow1.log

Yet that URL yields a 404.

No it pretty much just does "146 of 146 users recommend this story" so I would manually have to list all the most favourites images/pages.

Not sure why they say "146 of 146 users" because you cant thumbs down an article :S

Yes it does, there are two files "pollnow1.log" and "pollnow1_ip.log" both are 666ed (min they had to be according to the read.me file).

The ip one doesnt have anything in it, the other has that 0|0|0| figures I mentioned earlier.

Does the log file actually exist? I mean is pollnow1.log in the logs directory or is the directory empty at the moment?

Maybe I'm missing something, but is that favourites feature just a vote for that article, rather than the user having a list of their favourite articles? Or does the thumbs up add it to their favourites list?
